I've *never* heard a song that sounds as much like BOC as this song by the cool old Danish prog/psych band Burnin Red Ivanhoe. It's called "August Suicidal" from the 1974 album 'Right On.' It can be heard at myspace.com by searching on this title under the 'music' header.
Whaddya think? I like it.
