I couldn't have put it better, Eli, I second your posting. Of course, I
want to thank all the good people in the forum who have helped me acquire
items by showing me how to access them by pointing me in the right direction
with a link, or for any other sharing. The generosity of everyone is heart
warming. The community of Hawkfans is extremely diverse, and tend to be
intelligent free thinking people. It's refreshing after dealing with all
the insanity that gets put in our way and makes it harder to stay on the
path.
Many thanks,
Mary

Once again I have to extend a huge thanks to John Rennie and Captain Deli
for keeping the live Hawkwind and related music free live download site
afloat. This is just such a fantastic resource to have, and its really a
treasure chest of killer gigs. Since Hawkwind won't condone releaseing any
live shows of recent vintage I would like to make a request and see if
anyone can supply any Group X, Space Ritual, or Hawklords gigs of recent
vintage? Anyway forget the requests....this was about thanking John and
Capt. Deli for all the great Hawkstuff at the site. You guys really make my
day several times a year. Thanks, Eli Friedman

I've uploaded the show to
http://hawkstuff.ratsauce.co.uk/hawklive.asp.
I've split it into two parts for easier downloading and I've updated all the
MP3 tags. Other than that I haven't tinkered with the recordings.

Hmm, we already have "Hawkwind - Paradiso, Amsterdam 11/03/1977" at a
certain rodent related web site hereabouts (thanks to Anders R der for the
upload). I'll download this recording and if it sounds good I'll pop it on
my site.

All of the shows follow Hawkwind's policy on trading policy. Once you have
located the hawkwind shows, you have to go to the comments section of each
to find the links, which are megaupload links. I would imagine megaupload
maybe more than a little confusing to a blind person though, it's not all
that with fully functioning sight. You have to click on the regular
download link and wait for 45 seconds to get the download. In the meantime
there's a million and one adverts trying to lure you away. When you click
on the link you usually get at least one popup for some online gambling
site. All in all, it's tacky, but if you can navigate through the crap
you'll get to download a rar file containing a show. There's quite a lot of
Hawkwind shows on there, all between
1971 and I think 1978.
Hope that helps.
Derek

How hard is this site to use, do I need to sign in, and will I get anyone in
trouble for file sharing? This looks complicated. Any advice is
appreciated, as always, I do want in on this, if possible.

It might be this one which I found by Googling "Van Morrison Hawkwind
Hoensbroek"
http://musictravellerstwo.blogspot.com
The HW shows are in the 2010 posts so you need to scroll down to 2010 on the
right hand side.
Happy downloading.

Trawling around the net as I often do I stumbled across this little beauty.
Its not everyday you come across sites like this offering treats such as
this.
Dont be put off by Van the Man, point your cursor on the rh side of the
screen and scroll down.
Cant comment on all the links working, or the quality, some of these I have
already.
Have only downloaded one so far,Hoensbroek (better quality than Amsterdam),
most enjoyable.
Kudos to whoever upped these.
Dont all be downloading at once now space cadets, wouldnt want to crash the
servers.
Enjoy.
