As for first hand accounts about Cleopatra, in my email echanges with
Edward Ka-Spel of LPDs, he describes Cleo as "a difficult label" and
told me he got like 5 harassing calls from Cleo about getting a Dots
song on a comp of theirs, eventually he settled for a deal for a
measly $200 up front, no royalties. "In good company with Iggy,
Kraftwerk, PTV, Hawkwind but still only 200 dollars" he wrote.
