I’d more or less concur with that — up to and including the observation that _Sacrifice_ is pretty solid straight through. One could easily gripe at the new one and say he doesn’t sound at his best — though that’s ‘cause he isn’t! He’s 69 and, after the life he’s had, it’s amazing he’s still (pretty much) alive, let alone putting out a record that (at least statistically speaking) few rockers of any stripe would need to be ashamed of.

The ol’ bastard is clearly still pushing too hard. Having to stop shows after a few songs and cancel gigs is a sign you’re overdoing it. I know Lemmy loves to gig, but he needs to take it a bit easier or he’ll run the number of remaining gigs in him down to zero real fast … if he hasn’t already … :/

Cheers,
Carl

There are one or two stand-outs with more--for me _Sacrifice_ is almost all excellent--but there's something worth hearing on all of them and usually two or three somethings. (Except maybe on _Inferno_ and _Snake Bite Love_, but I guess everyone has their favourites and not-so-favourites.) By some reckonings, that's not much of a hit rate, but it beats many another artist's especially after so long...
