That was his first. Here's some background about it that I found interesting:
He was a music student at Macalister (sp) College in Mpls/St.Paul. That
album was sort of a graduation project from what I understand. What I
found was cool, was that he did everything on the album except percussion
on one song. He even did the cover art work, mixing and formed his own
record company. The feel of what I called "One man's music" really came
through for me.
Some of the tracks, especially the 12 string acoustic, were very
"transitional". Started me in one place and took me somewere else without
my realizing how I got there. (If ya know what I mean)
Later on he had a show on one of the radio stations up there, where he
hilighted alot of excelent music that wasn't getting play on the "Album
Rock" stations of the time.
