Yes, they did. I've still got a tape of the Deep Purple one, which was
certainly frank and forthright. It was extremely noticeable that a certain Mr
Blackmore refused to participate. There was also an extremely amusing one on
Fleetwood Mac.
Have to agree about Steve Harley. Nothing better to do so I crashed in Princes
Street Gardens and was very pleasantly surprised. I'd never heard anything bar
the obvious singles.
