oh, yeah--they also stole their sometime-motto 'everything louder than
evrything else' from deep purple; an offhand remark made by ian gillan about
adjusting their onstage sound before 'the mule' on MADE IN JAPAN. then
there's 'R.A.M.O.N.E.S.'
from 1916...;-)
