There are plenty of pictures with Lemmy wearing that type of hat. I think
it's from his collection -- doesn't it look like an army type hat from some
era?
And his warts are on the side of his face that the violin would obscure.
Actually, if he wanted to hide those warts and be a true teen idol, he
should have picked up the violin instead of the guitar.
