Duh...that was the bridge in Psychedelic Warlords,
natch. Great that this song has remained in the set,
too.

Didn`t miss the Letter to Robert bit, nor Digital
Nation, really. Paradox and A&B/GV were major
improvements. Seems that everyone is pretty much
agreed about how good this show is. (A first for
BOC-L?) BTW, the show length was almost exactly 90
minutes, plus ~12 minutes for the two-song encore.
(Brainbox Pollution/Silver Machine). The only further
changes I would suggest now would be The Watcher for
Greenback Massacre (though then we`d be getting very
little new material), and something like LSD instead
of Assassins of Allah (`cause without Palestine
there`d be no Tepee material). Perhaps `Right to
Decide` for `Brainbox Pollution` would work nicely as
well. Perhaps alternating each night as 1st encore or
something. But nevertheless, the show is really
coming together nicely. If you look at the cities
they`re doing this time `round, they`re almost all
different than December, so it`s almost like the 2nd
half of a complete England tour (no Scotland of
course, sorry to say). So it makes sense that they`re
doing a similar show, for those that never saw it the
first time. And in fact, they get an improved and
well rehearsed version for their patience.

The other cool thing about Middlesbrough was that the
stage was deep enough that they could set up all the
monitors etc. back from the edge of the stage to allow
the dancers full `run` left and right in front of the
players. So they could do flips and cartwheels and
stuff. Also, there was a little catwalk piece
pointing out into the audience a few feet and they
could use that as well for acrobatic bits where the
girl/android could be lifted high up off the floor.

Sheffield tonight, should be fun. I`m here with
Merrick and Julie, very nice people as are all the HW
fans I`ve met on the road. (Thanks David B. for
hosting me in Newcastle, BTW.) I guess we`ll miss
Eurovision song contest on the telly, what a shame.
:)

Grakkl (FAA)

P.S. Dave`s back to playing his custom-painted
Westone (?) guitar now, and so the old white guitar
(that looks a little like a Les Paul, but
isn`t...forgot the name) is back on the shelf (or on
backup duty) again.
